" Surely you know that many runners take part in a race, but only one of them wins the prize. Run, then, in such a way as to win the prize.”
- 1 Corinithians 9:24
IN today's society, we often find ourselves comparing our race with others as we have greater access to each others lives through social media and technology advances! This window often leaves us feeling distracted, ungrateful and discouraged about our own journeys!
Take an athlete for example, if they were fixated on other runners because they were taller or shorter or seemed to be more agile or "prepared" for the race, they would be distracted and never reach the finish line! The athlete's goal is to run well and obtain the gold medal or trophy! But for this they must keep their eye on the finish line and remained focused.
Similarly, God has called us to run only ONE race, that is our own for which he has fully equipped us (with the Word of God - and Christ as our focus) for the ultimate prize of blessings & eternal life!
Focus on your race, be thankful for your lane and run to WIN! 🏆
